You are a gift to the world. There has not been and will never be another person like you. To lose you would be a terrible tragedy. You are irreplaceable and of the utmost importance. You are a part of God’s plan for the world. You are a child of His, worthy of His infinite gift of love.
In the words of development psychologist Daniel Stern, “We need the eyes of others to form and hold ourselves together”. May these words wash over you and hold you together in the places you feel broken. May they form you and give you strength to live fully as the person God has made you to be. We need you here in this world and are grateful for the infinite depth within you. It is a privilege and an honor for anyone to know and engage with the depth of your humanity. May you experience this lived reality both as one who gives a gift of self and one who receives a gift of self from others.
