Virginia Madden, LPC Clinician- Alexandria
Virginia Madden is passionate about providing psychotherapy grounded in the Catholic understanding of the human person. She has a warm, eclectic approach focused on helping her clients feel understood and understand themselves better, as well as find emotional healing and increased wellbeing. She has experience with diverse populations and age groups, but specializes in working with children (and their parents), teenage girls, young adults, and mothers. She has pursued training and supervision in various therapeutic approaches, including Child-centered Play Therapy, and is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. She is also certified in EMDR Level II through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology.
Virginia graduated with her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. Prior experience includes working at: a pregnancy resource center, an alternative-to-hospitalization program, and a community health center serving underprivileged adults. She joined Alpha Omega Clinic in 2018 and is a licensed professional counselor in both Maryland and Virginia.
