Rita Wasilewski, LPC, CSAT Clinician – Fairfax
Rita Wasilewski is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist who provides a safe, healing environment for hurting people, including those suffering unwanted behavioral compulsions. She has completed advanced training in addiction, trauma interventions, internal family systems, anxiety management and forgiveness therapy and has special interest in the areas of logotherapy, bibliotherapy and the brain’s astonishing ability to develop new, and life-affirming patterns. Rita promotes self-care, in the form of good habits and good ideas, as the foundation for a flourishing life and healthy relationships. Rita holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University and continues to study the integration of sound theology and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
As part of her own ongoing development, Rita finds inspiration in a favorite quote from John Paul II, “Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid”.
Rita is a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals.
