Maria DeLuca, M.S.
Maria is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia. She is dedicated and passionate about serving others to find God’s healing hand in their lives. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Divine Mercy University where she had the opportunity to integrate the Catholic perspective on human flourishing in a clinical framework.
During her clinical internship through Divine Mercy University, Maria spent time working with Christian adolescents and adults of all ages through issues involving anxiety, depression, and marriage and family issues. Maria looks to foster a safe and healthy place to encounter transformation. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2014 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She spent seven years in college Catholic ministerial positions mentoring young adults, including five years as a FOCUS missionary. These roles greatly formed her application of the Catholic Christian perspective of the person. She is trained in the HEART model, a holistic approach for clients who have experienced trauma. She continues to integrate her various trainings in her clinical outlook. Maria joined Alpha Omega Clinic in 2022.
