Letha Valiaveedu, EdD, LCPC, GCDF Clinician-Bethesda

Dr. Letha Valiaveedu is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2003. She received her doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2012.

Dr. Valiaveedu has twenty years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in a variety of clinical settings, which include outpatient treatment, an adolescent residential treatment center for those recovering from substance abuse, a home-based family therapy program, a transitional program for the severely mentally ill young adults, and two different college counseling centers. She is passionate about integrating the Christian faith with practice and utilizing a strength-based approach to empower individuals to overcome challenges in an empathetic, supportive environment.
