Jessie Tappel, LCPC
Jessie Tappel received her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences, where the focus was on the integration of faith and psychology and how to bring hope and healing to those who are suffering. She enjoys working with adults, children and adolescents through a variety of treatment approaches, including attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and trauma-informed care. She has had extensive experience in working with a diverse population, over a variety of settings. In addition, she is passionate about communicating mental health topics through speaking and writing. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She obtained the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential in 2019 and is a working supervisor in both Maryland and Virginia. In 2019, Jessie became a Certified Clinical Traumatologist through the Green Cross Academy for Traumatology. Additionally, she works for Divine Mercy University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program as a clinical faculty member, working with the future of mental health professionals. Jessie joined Alpha Omega Clinic in 2016.
