Elisabeth Baker, M.A. Clinician – Sterling
Elisabeth is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia and received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. With a calm and gentle style, Elisabeth is passionate about creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for her clients. Elisabeth has worked with a variety of populations, but specializes in working with children, teenagers and young adults; she has additional training in OCD and Exposure & Response Prevention and experience working in the field of eating disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings including school counseling, teen group therapy, working with traumatized children at a child advocacy center, and child, teen and adult therapy in a private practice agency.
Elisabeth is committed to helping clients develop healthy coping skills, navigate relational or personal struggles, and grow in self-understanding and hope. Guided by her Catholic faith, Elisabeth seeks to support each individual with their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, and help empower her clients to explore emotions, face challenges, and ultimately grow into stronger and healthier versions of themselves.
