Alpha Omega Clinic does not work directly with insurance, however services may be covered in part or in full if your plan includes “out-of-network” benefits for mental health services. Please consult with your insurance company to review your coverage. If you are planning to submit out-of-network claims to your insurance, please contact billing@aoclinic.org or call 301-767-1733 ext 3 to request to receive a monthly superbill. Alpha Omega Clinic does not have any control over whether claims are approved or denied by insurance plans.
At your initial intake session, your clinician will recommend a treatment plan for you based on your needs. We typically recommend scheduling sessions once per week for at least the first 6 to 8 weeks, but frequency of sessions is at the discretion of the client.

Alpha Omega Clinic does not offer psychiatric evaluation or medication at this time. We would be happy to refer you to a local psychiatrist. Please call our main office for more information.
We offer both in-person psychotherapy and telemental health sessions, based on the needs of the client. To discuss available services or to schedule your first appointment, please call our office and our Intake Coordinator will be happy to assist you.
Alpha Omega Clinic requires at least 48 hours advanced notice to cancel an appointment without penalty. If you do not cancel your session 48 hours ahead of time, Alpha Omega Clinic will charge the full session fee for the missed session. Any sessions scheduled for Monday must be canceled by the close of business on Friday. For routine calls to cancel or schedule appointments, please contact your clinician directly. If you are running late to your appointment, please contact your clinician directly. A directory of clinician extensions may be found by dialing 301-767-1733 option 1. Appointments will not be held if you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment without notifying your clinician.
In the event of inclement weather, please contact your clinician directly to determine the status of your appointment. Our administrative office will be closed when the Federal Government is closed due to inclement weather.
