Theresa Donahoe, M.S Clinician – Fairfax
Theresa earned her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. The program emphasizes the unity of faith, reason, and evidence-based treatments while upholding that each person has inherent dignity, goodness, and uniqueness. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. She is committed to helping clients find meaning, grow in self-awareness, build virtues and life skills, and find healing in their relationships, stress, and suffering.
Theresa is certified in EMDR Level II and as a Field Traumatologist through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. She currently practices as a Resident in Counseling. Walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain was a profound experience for her as she encountered the suffering and joy in fellow pilgrims, and it reminds her of how counseling is similar: it is a sacred privilege to walk alongside clients on their journey toward greater healing, freedom, and wholeness.
