Anthony J. Flores, LPC, CT Clinician - Sterling
Anthony J. Flores, LPC, CT is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia and a Clinical Traumatologist. He brings a unique, integrated approach to clinical practice, blending contemporary psychology with Catholic/Christian anthropology and theology.
Anthony is passionate about helping clients struggling with a range of challenges, including trauma, PTSD, OCD, and mood disorders. He also deeply enjoys working with couples.
Anthony believes in a holistic approach to treatment, addressing client welfare in body, mind, and soul. He utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities best suited for each client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential, and existential approaches.
In addition to his clinical work, Anthony has extensive experience as a Certified Facilitator/Instructor and Clinical Traumatologist with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. This role includes extensive deployment and field experience responding to traumatized persons in the aftermath of natural and man-made disasters.
Anthony holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University. He is also a dedicated educator who teaches Human Development in the Spiritual Direction program at Divine Mercy University.
Anthony offers both in-person and telehealth counseling services.
