Mac Williams is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia. He received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Since then, he has been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of clients, meeting individuals in the midst of their lives through the process of therapy.
Mac’s approach to counseling focuses on the inherent worth and dignity of the person through trust, collaboration, and empathy. He is informed by attachment theory and systems thinking, utilizing behavioral changes, a building of self-compassion, and the therapeutic setting for growth and healing. He is open to working with individuals who wish to incorporate their faith and other existential topics as well.
