Alpha Omega Clinic is excited to welcome two new clinicians to our growing team of Catholic therapists. Marianna Taylor, LCSW-C has joined our Ellicott City, Maryland office, offering counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and couples. Among her specialties, she is trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention for work with children with any trauma, neglect and/or abuse. Having also completed 8 years of working with Oncology and Hospice patients and running Cancer support groups, she also specializes in helping adults and children who are coping with chronic illnesses, end-of-life issues as well as grief and loss.
Jean Wood, LCSW is now seeing adolescents, adults and couples at our Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia office. Her specialities include providing therapy to people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and post-traumatic stress disorder. She received specialized training in marriage and family therapy, as well as in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her experience includes working as a therapist at both Catholic Charities of Denver and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington.
