This month, Alpha Omega Clinic is excited to announce the opening of a new clinic location in Alexandria, Virginia at St. Rita’s Catholic Church. Two new clinicians, Marie Mavretich, LGPC and Su Li Lee, Psy. D. will be available on Tuesdays to see clients in Alexandria.
Marie is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. She received her Masters degree from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, VA and pursued studies at the Pastoral Counseling Department at Loyola College in Maryland. Marie has worked as a guidance counselor for two D.C. area schools, and as a therapist at a private practice in Alexandria, VA. She also currently works with couples in the marriage preparation program in the Dioceses of Arlington. Marie’s specialties include working with children and adolescents, families, parenting, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, trauma, eating disorders, post-abortive issues, and loss or grief.
Dr. Su Li Lee is a Doctoral graduate and is currently pursuing licensure as a clinical psychologist in Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Psychology degree from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, VA and completed her pre-doctoral internship at an APA-accredited community mental health center in Chicago, IL. She has a scholarly interest in the philosophy of love and personhood, as well as Attachment Theory, and she primarly uses attachment-based paradigms in her approach to psychotherapy. Her specialties include working with children and adults, trauma, loss or grief, depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness, group therapy, personality disorders and psychological testing.
