Marianna Taylor, LCSW-C Clinician – Ellicott City
Marianna Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of clinical experience, who is passionate about integrating the Catholic faith with therapy while helping clients achieve healing and strength in their lives and relationships. She has gained training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention for work with children with any trauma, neglect and/or abuse, where she integrates play into her therapy with children. She specializes in work with adults and children coping with chronic illnesses, end-of-life issues, as well as grief and loss. She completed therapeutic work with Oncology and Hospice patients and their families while also running Cancer support groups for individuals and couples for 8 years.
She is a military spouse and she is passionate about serving military families struggling with PTSD, deployments, and/or reintegration issues. Marianna received her MA from Florida State University in 2005 and also has a BA in Elementary Education. Her work is not only informed by her training and experience, but also by her vocations as a wife of 14 years and a mother to 4 children. She enjoys working with adults, children, adolescents and couples through a variety of treatment approaches, including, cognitive-behavioral, emotionally focused, mindfulness, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and trauma-informed CBT care. She will be joining the Alpha Omega office in Ellicott City in January 2018.
