Dr. Roderick provides compassionate, client-centered evidence-based psychological care through individualized consultation, assessment and psychotherapy. Her practice focuses on helping children and families find lasting relief from a variety of problems and concerns. She has expertise in the areas of pediatric psychology and psychoeducational evaluations. She also offers the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adults managing a wide range of life stressors and psychological symptoms. Dr. Roderick often collaborates with other professionals including medical doctors, teachers or other specialists when warranted to ensure comprehensive care.
Dr. Roderick received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in 2014. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in rural Tennessee with Frontier Health. Her post-doctoral fellowship was completed at a private practice in McLean, Virginia. Dr. Roderick also served as a Visiting Fellow and Adjunct Medical Staff with the Health Psychology and Neurobehavioral Group, Pediatric Oncology Branch, National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Roderick began working at the Alpha Omega Clinic in 2018 and she is licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.
