Annie Mosimann, MAClinician- Fairfax

Annie Mosimann received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, where training focused on the incorporation of faith into mental health counseling. Annie worked as a clinician for Catholic Charities of the Arlington Diocese before joining Alpha Omega Clinic in 2018. During her time with Alpha Omega, Annie has also served as a school counselor at an elementary and middle school and has worked at a neighboring psychotherapy practice in McLean, VA.

With a Bachelor’s in Art from the University of Dallas and experience as an art teacher, Annie has been able to successfully incorporate expressive art techniques into therapy. Her skills have been honed for successful work with children and adolescents with special training in Child-Centered Play Therapy from the National Institute of Relationship Enhancement, and in Sand Therapy from the Starbright Training Institute for Child and Family Play Therapy. Annie completed an externship at the Washington Baltimore Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy which allows her to assist couples in healing and strengthening their relationships. She received additional training in Mentalization from the Anna Freud Centre, supporting her well-rounded, therapeutic approach.

Annie blends her knowledge, skills, and experience to create an empathetic, integrative approach in working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. She is passionate about helping clients, believing all persons are created for greatness and that it is never too late to become the best version of one’s self.
